How much does the University of Parma cost in 2026/27?

The University of Parma costs from €156 (₹17,000) a year in the no-tax area to €2,346 (₹2.6 lakh) at the top band for a science or technology degree in 2026/27. The yearly contribution depends on family income, measured by the ISEE, and study can be tuition-free for eligible students who win a DSU scholarship.

Who pays what, 2026/27Yearly totalHow it is set
ISEE up to €27,000 (no-tax area)€156 (₹17,000)Contribution €0; only the €140 regional tax and €16 stamp duty. First-year students need no credits; from the second year, 10 CFU (25 in later years) are needed
ISEE €27,000.01 to €70,000By formulaThe contribution rises with the ISEE by a formula set for each subject area, up to the area maximum, plus €156; credits earned and years enrolled also count
Top band, science, technology and professional degrees€2,346 (₹2.6 lakh)€2,190 maximum contribution plus €156 (derived); due above an ISEE of €70,000 or without valid income data
Top band, Dentistry, English-taught Medicine and Surgery and Dental Hygiene€2,881 (₹3.2 lakh)€2,725 maximum contribution plus €156 (derived)
Dental Hygiene, international students with income outside the EU€4,656 (₹5.1 lakh)A fixed €4,500 contribution plus the €156 first instalment (derived)

The fee reduction request goes through ER.GO from 23 June to 4 November 2026, 17:00, and without valid income data the area maximum applies. The second and third instalments fall due on 18 November 2026 and 30 April 2027.

Source: Tasse/Contribuzione, anno accademico 2026/27 (Allegato 3) and Parma fee rules for full-time students 2026/27. Rupees use the FBIL reference rate of 21 September 2026, €1 = ₹109.90.

Families with income or assets abroad file their 2025 income, property and family documents, translated into Italian and legalised or, where the country allows it, apostilled, on the ER.GO Dossier Utente by 31 December 2026. Allegato 3 accepts no ISEE parificato and sets no flat fee by country, so without these documents the area maximum applies. Source: Parma, tuition fees for international students.

Worked example: If ER.GO converts the family's documents to an ISEE-equivalent of €15,000, a first-year student from India pays €156 (₹17,000) in 2026/27, inside the no-tax area (derived), on any course except Dental Hygiene, which has a fixed €4,656 (₹5.1 lakh) for income outside the EU. Without the documents by 31 December 2026, the area maximum applies: €2,346 (₹2.6 lakh) for a science degree or €2,881 (₹3.2 lakh) for English-taught Medicine. We prepare the translated and legalised documents with you, and the ER.GO application with the student, who submits both on the ER.GO portal.

Reality check

  • Medicine places are few. English-taught Medicine and Surgery in Piacenza has 50 places for non-EU applicants living abroad in 2026/27, and Parma's October 2025 non-EU ranking list ranked more than 650 candidates.
  • Master's deadlines come early. For 2026/27, most English-taught master's took non-EU visa applicants from 15 January to 6 April 2026, with a June intake for some programmes only.
  • Documents decide the fee. Parma does not accept an ISEE parificato, so without translated and legalised income documents on the ER.GO portal by 31 December 2026, the area maximum applies.
  • Italian still matters. We list 14 English-taught programmes at Parma, and most other degrees, internships and daily life in Parma and Piacenza need Italian.

What we handle: the shortlist, the fee route, the income documents, the programme applications, the Universitaly pre-enrolment, the visa file and the ER.GO application, prepared with the student, who submits it. The university decides admission, the region decides the DSU scholarship and the consulate decides the visa.

How does ApplyAZ handle applications to the University of Parma?

For eligible students, we take care of the whole application to the University of Parma. We shortlist programmes against your profile and their entry tests, prepare the documents and the family's income papers, file each programme application, complete Universitaly pre-enrolment, handle the visa file and prepare the ER.GO scholarship application with the student, who submits it.

We work only with Italian public universities, and we do not promise outcomes: the university decides admission, the region decides the DSU scholarship and the consulate decides the visa.

When do applications open at the University of Parma?

For 2026/27, most English-taught master's at the University of Parma took non-EU visa applicants on apply.unipr.it from 15 January to 6 April 2026, with a June intake for some programmes, and Medicine used the IMAT held on 29 September. The 2027/28 calls are not published yet, so we track each call on your shortlist and file every application in time.

How does ApplyAZ help with a University of Parma application?

For eligible students, we take care of everything: the shortlist, the fee route and legalised income documents, each apply.unipr.it application or IMAT registration, Universitaly pre-enrolment, the ER.GO file, which the student submits, and the visa file. The university decides admission, ER.GO the scholarship and the consulate the visa. Start by checking your eligibility at go.applyaz.com.
