How much does the University of Brescia cost in 2026/27?

The University of Brescia costs from €146 (₹16,000) a year for ISEE holders in the no-tax area to €1,000 (₹1.1 lakh) at most for students from lower-middle-income countries such as India in 2026/27. Italian ISEE holders pay by income, non-EU students by country of origin, and study can be tuition-free for eligible students who win a DSU scholarship.

Above an ISEE of €70,000, or with no valid ISEE, each course has its own maximum, set in a table annexed to the regulation that the published files do not print. Non-EU students whose family has had its tax domicile in Italy for at least two years pay as Italian students do. Winners and eligible students of the DSU scholarship pay only the regional tax and stamp duty.

Students with income abroad can have the contribution set through an ISEE parificato, and non-EU students from lower-middle-income countries pay €1,000 (₹1.1 lakh) at most. Worked example: A first-year student from India pays at most €1,000 (₹1.1 lakh) a year, all-inclusive, or €146 (₹16,000) with an ISEE parificato of €15,000 if Brescia applies the no-tax area to it (derived). The regulation does not say this outright, so we settle it with the fee office before the family files. We prepare the documents with you, file them with the university and prepare its DSU scholarship application with you, since the student submits it through the university's online services.

Which entry tests and language levels does the University of Brescia ask for?

The University of Brescia uses CEnT-S, TOLC-E, TOLC-I and TOLC (AV, B, F, LP, SPS), depending on the programme. English-taught master's ask for at least B1 English and the English-taught bachelor's for B2, while Italian-taught degrees ask for B2 Italian. Yes, most do. Among Brescia's master's graduates of 2024, 91.4% were in work about a year later, with mean net pay of €1,698 (₹1.9 lakh) a month, according to AlmaLaurea. Five years after graduating, 97.9% of the 2020 master's graduates were in work, earning €2,112 (₹2.3 lakh) a month on average.

Which DSU scholarship covers the University of Brescia?

Brescia students apply for the regional DSU scholarship through the University of Brescia. For 2026/27 the family ISEE limit is €26,887.93 (₹29.5 lakh), and the top grant for a student living away from home is €8,248 (₹9.1 lakh) a year. Winners are also exempt from the university's yearly contribution, so study can be tuition-free for eligible students.

The University of Brescia also funds its own scholarships for non-EU applicants. For 2026/27 its STAR and LMINT call offered 17 master's scholarships, 13 of them (LMINT) for non-EU applicants with a three-year bachelor's from a non-EU country who enrol in an English-taught master's, with applications by 15 March 2026. What does it cost to live in Brescia?

For the study visa, the consulate asks you to show at least €10,179.85 (₹11.2 lakh) a year for living costs in Brescia or any other Italian city. That is a floor, not a full budget: rent is the biggest cost, and a DSU residence place is much cheaper than a private room.
