Our story
ApplyAZ started with one Canadian who left home for Rome and built a life there.
In 2015, Paris Kor left Canada for Italy to pursue a Master's in Finance at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome. She found her own apartment, navigated Italian bureaucracy, and earned her degree, taught entirely in English. After graduating, she was offered a position at the United Nations in Rome.
Along the way, people began reaching out. Friends, then strangers, all asking the same question: how did you actually get there, and who helped you? The answer was no one. She had figured it out alone.
People were not looking for information. They were looking for guidance they could trust, from someone who understood both the practical steps and the emotional weight of the decision.
That is the gap ApplyAZ was built to close. A team of people who have personally walked this path, supporting students and their families through every stage of the journey, from the first eligibility check to the day they arrive on campus.

Every student we place has confirmed housing before departure, health insurance, a named on-ground contact from day one, and access to our team by phone and WhatsApp around the clock. Parents receive a dedicated pre-departure briefing, a direct line to our team, and safe arrival confirmation. If anything unexpected comes up, there is always someone your family can reach immediately.
Yes. For full degree programs, we coordinate housing options ranging from university dormitories to vetted independent apartments, all sourced through certified local partners. For short courses and immersive experiences, accommodation is typically included in the program and confirmed before you depart. In both cases, you will know exactly where you are living before you board your flight.
Our short courses are designed to be far more than classroom time. They are immersive, carefully planned experiences where you study alongside curated cultural moments: city tours, local excursions, studio visits, culinary experiences, and more. You come home with a recognized certificate and with memories that stay with you. Every experience is detailed on the program page once you select "Experiences." Full degree programs are more lecture and seminar focused, but our short courses are full of color.
No. All the programs we recommend are taught entirely in English. Learning the local language can enrich your daily life, but it is not required for enrollment or participation in any of the programs we offer.
