The Master in Engineering and Management at Politecnico di Torino is a two-year, 120 ECTS degree in class LM-31, with an English edition taught on the Turin main campus. Entry requirements
- A bachelor's degree (EQF level 6) or an equivalent foreign qualification.
- A background in management engineering, industrial engineering and management, mechanical, aerospace, ICT, automotive, process or automation engineering, or a similar field.
- Bachelor's degrees in biomedical, chemical and food, materials, electrical, electronic or energy engineering are not accepted.
- English at B2 level or higher; IELTS 5.5 is the minimum listed for the English edition. The Italian edition, Ingegneria Gestionale, also asks for Italian B2.
- No entrance test and no syllabus: access is uncapped and the university evaluates your documents.
- A declaration of value or CIMEA statement of comparability for enrolment.

Engineering and Management is a two-year, 120 ECTS master's degree in class LM-31 (Management Engineering) at Politecnico di Torino, taught on the main campus in Turin. The degree is taught both in Italian and in English: Engineering and Management is the English edition, which needs English only, and Ingegneria Gestionale is the Italian one. The English edition of Engineering and Management is built on four learning areas shared by all students, after which you choose one of five specialist tracks, each focused on a different management field. The four areas are:
- Markets, strategy and business management: strategy, organisational design, the impact of technology and financial management
- Management of production and quality systems: production management strategies, quality systems, project and risk management
- Corporate economic and legal analysis: economic theory, how markets work, corporate governance and the legal framework
- ICT system management: the analysis, design and development of information systems

How the programme is taught
Teaching mixes lectures with practical classes, case study analysis, group projects and seminars led by professionals from industry. The degree ends with a thesis project. Students with a non-Italian qualification who enrol in an English-taught master's must reach Italian at A2 level before they graduate.

Applicants whose family lives abroad send foreign income and asset documents, from which EDISU calculates an ISEE parificato.

Engineering and Management accepts bachelor's degrees in management, industrial engineering and management, mechanical, aerospace, ICT, automotive, process or automation engineering and similar fields. Some industrial engineering degrees are not accepted: biomedical, chemical and food, materials, electrical, electronic and energy engineering. No syllabus is needed. You apply on Apply@PoliTO for up to two master's programmes, with a €50 fee; the 2026/27 calls closed on 13 February and 20 April 2026, and 2027/28 dates were not out in September 2026.
Admitted students then pre-enrol on Universitaly for the type D study visa, and need a declaration of value or a CIMEA statement of comparability to enrol.
