Business Administration at the University of Rome Tor Vergata is a two-year, 120 ECTS master's degree (LM-77) taught entirely in English, with five second-year curricula from auditing to supply chain. Non-EU students pay a flat rate or an income-based fee, so it can be tuition-free for eligible students.
Entry requirements
- A three-year bachelor's degree with at least 80% of the top grade for international degrees; Italian classes L-16, L-18 or L-33 or equivalent.
- Other degrees need 48 ECTS: at least 18 in business, 12 in economics, 6 in law and 6 in maths or statistics.
- English at B2 level: IELTS Academic, Cambridge FCE, BEC Vantage or TOEFL iBT 74, no older than three years. Not needed after an English-taught degree or for citizens of English-speaking countries.
- No entrance test: the Admission Board assesses your CV, transcript and English.

Business Administration is a two-year master's degree (laurea magistrale, class LM-77, Scienze economico-aziendali) worth 120 ECTS and taught entirely in English at the School of Economics of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. The programme builds on an undergraduate business degree and trains graduates for management roles in public or private, for-profit or non-profit organisations, including consulting firms. Digitalisation, sustainability and soft skills run across all courses.
What you will study
The first year has seven core courses shared by all students. In the second year you follow one of five curricula: four specialisations and one multidisciplinary Management track. You also take two electives (12 ECTS) and 6 ECTS of extra activities. The 2026/27 plan includes:

- Supply Chain Management: Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Digital Supply Network, Economics of Procurement
- Management: Sustainability Management, Entrepreneurial Finance, and a choice such as Project Management or Change Management
How the programme is taught
Classes combine theory with hands-on exercises, case studies and seminars by industry professionals. Several units use blended learning, with online lessons, videos and group work on the university's learning platform alongside classroom teaching. The course helps students find internships with public and private companies, and Erasmus+, Overseas and thesis-abroad programmes are open to them.

Fees and scholarships
The MSc in Business Administration is on Tor Vergata's €2,500 list: non-EU students who do not declare family income pay that flat rate each year, plus €156 regional tax and stamp duty. Declaring income through the ISEE parificato switches you to an income-based fee from €156. LazioDisco winners on the flat rate are exempt only from the €140 regional fee, while the income route can be tuition-free for eligible students.
How to apply from outside the EU
Non-EU applicants who need a visa can apply only in the first intake, which ran from 26 January to 30 April 2026 for 2026/27. You apply on the Delphi platform, upload your CV, transcript with grading scale and English certificate, pay the €30 fee and validate the payment. The Admission Board replies by email within a month.
Once admitted, you pre-enrol on Universitaly and apply for a type D study visa. The 2027/28 call is not out yet.
