How much does the University of Udine cost in 2026/27?

The University of Udine costs from €136 (₹15,000) a year in the no-tax area to €2,076 (₹2.3 lakh) with an ISEE above €60,000 or no ISEE in 2026/27. The yearly contribution depends on family income, measured by the ISEE, and study can be tuition-free for eligible students who win a DSU scholarship.

Who pays what, 2026/27Yearly totalHow it is set
ISEE up to €28,339.88 (no-tax area)€136 (₹15,000)Contribution €0; only the €16 stamp duty and the €120 regional tax, in the first instalment due 5 October 2026. From the second year, the years and credits requirements apply too
ISEE €28,339.89 to €30,000 (no-tax area)€156 (₹17,000)Contribution €0; the regional tax rises to €140, plus the €16 stamp duty
ISEE €30,000.01 to €40,000€956 to €1,246 (₹1.1 lakh to ₹1.4 lakh)A contribution of €800 to €840 up to an ISEE of €35,000 and €1,050 to €1,090 up to €40,000, in €1,000 ISEE steps, plus €140 and €16 (derived totals)
ISEE €40,000.01 to €60,000€1,506 to €1,826 (₹1.7 lakh to ₹2.0 lakh)A contribution of €1,350 to €1,440 up to €50,000 and €1,625 to €1,650 up to €60,000, plus the €16 stamp duty and a regional tax of €140, or €160 above an ISEE of €56,679.76 (derived totals)
ISEE above €60,000, no ISEE or no right to reductions€2,076 (₹2.3 lakh)€1,900 maximum contribution plus the €160 regional tax and €16 stamp duty, in instalments of €630, €690 and €756, due 5 October 2026, 31 March 2027 and 31 May 2027
ARDiS scholarship holders€16 (₹2,000)Exempt from the contribution and the regional tax, so only the €16 stamp duty; Udine applies the exemption itself when ARDiS pays the grant

From the second year, reductions need enrolment for no more than the normal length plus one year, and 10 or 25 credits earned by 10 August 2026. With an ISEE up to €30,000 and the credits but not the years, the contribution is €300 (₹33,000). Students from their second year out of course pay the €2,000 maximum, €2,176 (₹2.4 lakh) in all (derived), the top of the range on Udine's fees information page.

Source: Avviso aggiuntivo al Manifesto degli Studi 2026/27 (tasse, contributi ed esoneri). Rupees use the FBIL reference rate of 21 September 2026, €1 = ₹109.90.

Families with income abroad can use an ISEE parificato from a CAF with an ARDiS agreement, and the reduction is requested through the ARDiS online procedure by 5 October 2026, 13:00, or by 15 January 2027 for the contribution only. The notice sets no flat fee by country, and without an ISEE the €2,076 (₹2.3 lakh) maximum applies. Source: Udine fee notice 2026/27, Article 3.

Worked example: With a family ISEE parificato of €15,000, a first-year student from India would pay €136 (₹15,000) in 2026/27, because €15,000 is inside the lowest band, with no contribution. Without an ISEE the maximum of €2,076 (₹2.3 lakh) applies, and there is no flat fee by country, so the ISEE parificato route never costs more (derived). We prepare the ISEE parificato documents and the fee reduction request with you, and you submit the request in your own name, because the fee notice refuses requests sent by third parties.

Reality check

  • The window is early and short. For 2026/27, Udine took Elix-Forms pre-evaluation requests only from 1 February to 31 May 2026, and Universitaly pre-enrolment closed on 30 June.
  • Places are capped. Udine's 2026/27 annex reserved 30 places for applicants living outside the EU on Management & Business Analytics and on Economics, and 8 on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.
  • Documents decide the fee. With an ISEE parificato of €15,000, a first-year student pays €136 (₹15,000); without an ISEE, the maximum of €2,076 (₹2.3 lakh) applies.
  • Italian still matters. Italian-taught degrees ask for a B2 Italian certificate, and daily life and internships in Udine need Italian too.

What we handle: the shortlist, the fee route, the income documents, the programme applications, the Universitaly pre-enrolment, the visa file and any ARDiS application the call allows, prepared with you and submitted in your own name. The university decides admission, ARDiS decides the DSU scholarship and the consulate decides the visa.

How does ApplyAZ handle applications to the University of Udine?

For eligible students, we take care of the whole application to the University of Udine. We shortlist programmes against your profile and their entry tests, prepare the documents and the family's income papers, file each application, complete Universitaly pre-enrolment, handle the visa file and prepare any ARDiS application the call allows with you, for you to submit in your name.

We focus on Italian public universities and consider selected exceptions when they fit the student’s needs. We have no private-university tie-ups and receive no university commissions. Decisions remain with the relevant authorities: the university decides admission, ARDiS decides the DSU scholarship and the consulate decides the visa.
