Reality check
- Bilingual courses need Italian. Trieste's course list shows 6 of the 13 programmes on our list as taught in English and Italian, and visa applicants to those need B2 Italian or 50 out of 72 in CISIA's Italian L2 test.
- Places for visa applicants are capped. For 2026/27, Computer Engineering had 30 places, Neuroscience 30 and Geophysics and Geodata 15 (quotas page), and a course not on that list takes no visa applicants.
- Residence decides the fee. A family abroad pays the flat €976 (₹1.1 lakh) a year in 2026/27, whatever its income, while ARDiS scholarship students pay only the €16 stamp duty.
- The windows close early. For 2026/27, visa applicants had until 30 April 2026 on apply.units.it, and the ARDiS scholarship closed on 17 September 2026.
What we handle: the shortlist, the fee route, the income documents, the programme applications, the Universitaly pre-enrolment, the visa file and the ARDiS application, prepared with you and submitted in your name. The university decides admission, ARDiS decides the DSU scholarship and the consulate decides the visa.
