School-leaving requirement
You need a secondary school diploma obtained after at least 12 years of pre-university education. For a diploma from a non-Italian school, you need a declaration of value from the Italian embassy or consulate, or a CIMEA statement of comparability. [1]
The admission pages do not specify a minimum school grade. Instead, the entrance test checks the preparation you need: [1]
- Logic: interpreting a text accurately, using the data of a problem to reach a solution, predicting how a simple system behaves and linking results to their assumptions.
- Maths: arithmetic and algebra, equations and inequalities, geometry, Cartesian coordinates, functions and graphs, including trigonometric functions.
- Science: elementary physics and the basic structure of matter.

The CISIA CEnT-S is the compulsory selective test. In its 2025/26 format it has 55 questions in five sections: [1]

- Reasoning on texts and data: 15 questions, 30 minutes
- Biology: 10 questions, 20 minutes, not counted for this degree
- Chemistry: 10 questions, 20 minutes

You need at least 20% of the maximum score, which the programme sets at 9 out of 45 with biology excluded. [1]
For 2026/27 two alternatives were also accepted: the TOLC-I with at least 15 points across mathematics, science, logic and verbal comprehension, or the SAT with at least 320 out of 1600. [2]
Maths obligation (OFA): if you score 8 out of 15 or less in mathematics, you can be assigned an extra obligation, depending also on your overall score: at least 6 CFU in MATH-03/A or MATH-02/B before any other exam, cleared within the first year. [1]
Deadlines
For 2026/27, the programme expected non-EU pre-admission on Universitaly to open in January 2026 and close on 31 May 2026, although another admission page describes the window as February to June. Final enrolment ran from 15 July to 31 October, a window often extended to December. [1]

About the programme
Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (EEIT) is a three-year bachelor's degree (laurea, class L-8) worth 180 ECTS, taught in English by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (DIETI) at Via Claudio 21 in Naples.
