The Bachelor in Business Administration and Management is the English-taught curriculum of Sapienza's three-year, 180 ECTS degree in business economics (class L-18) in Rome. Entry needs the SAT or CEnT-S and English at B2. Students with income abroad pay a flat fee by country, from €300 a year under the 2025/26 rules.
Entry requirements
- A secondary school diploma after at least 12 years of schooling, or 11 years plus a foundation year or one year of higher education.
- A strong background in mathematics; the university gives preference to scientific or quantitative high-school studies.
- For MoveIn pre-selection: a SAT score of at least 960 (taken from 1 January 2024) or a CEnT-S converted score of at least 18 out of 55, and a GPA of at least 80/100.
- English at B2 level of the CEFR, for example IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80, Cambridge B2 First or Trinity ISE II; the English TOLC is no longer accepted.
- Registration on Infostud with a €10 fee to record your test score.

It is run by the Department of Management in Sapienza's Faculty of Economics and taught in person in Rome. The university describes a multidisciplinary education in how modern business organisations and financial systems work and in their wider environment. It suits school leavers with a solid grounding in mathematics who want a business degree taught in English.
What you will study
Students build skills in economic, managerial, financial and legal disciplines, with methods for analysing and critically interpreting business structures and dynamics. The 2026/27 first-year timetable for the English curriculum includes three core units. The main areas are:

How the programme is taught
Teaching is in person in Rome. The final exam is the presentation of an essay on the work done during an internship (stage) or thesis project, which trains students to present their work and discuss it with an audience. The degree's presentation page, which calls the English curriculum Business Management, says its students can compete for a double bachelor's degree with the Université de Liège.
Career paths
Graduates are prepared to provide consultancy and to take managerial and entrepreneurial roles in private and public organisations operating in real and financial markets. The degree's professional profiles are:
- Business consultant: financial planning, budgeting, auditing and strategy, in consulting and audit firms, public administration and professional practices
- Banking, insurance and financial consultant: credit, treasury, financial planning and asset management
- Management consultant: planning and control, administration, finance, marketing and supply chain

Fees and scholarships
Students whose family income is abroad pay a flat Sapienza fee by country band, without an Italian ISEE. The 2025/26 rules, the latest published, set €300 a year for Band A (countries like India, Nigeria and Pakistan), €700 for Band B and €1,500 for Band C, in three instalments; the 2026/27 rules follow after 30 September 2026. Winners of a DiSCo Lazio grant, and students who meet its requirements, pay €30.
How to apply from outside the EU
To choose the English curriculum you must sit the SAT or the CEnT-S. Visa applicants also register for pre-selection on MoveIn (€30 per application, two at most), which for 2026/27 closed on 15 May 2026, and use the pre-acceptance letter for Universitaly pre-enrolment by 30 June 2026.
For 2026/27 the €10 test-recording fee was paid on Infostud between 2 July and 29 October 2026, SAT scores had to reach Sapienza (College Board code 9038) by 29 October, and a SAT below 960 or a low CEnT-S section score adds extra first-year requirements (OFA). Then comes the type D study visa.
