The University of Bergamo is a public university in Bergamo, Lombardy, founded in 1968, with 20,070 students on its bachelor's, master's and single-cycle degrees in 2025/26. Its departments cover foreign languages, letters and philosophy, human and social sciences, law, economics and management, and engineering. Teaching runs across the historic upper town, the economics and law campus in the lower town, and the engineering campus in nearby Dalmine.

The University of Bergamo asks non-EU applicants to its English-taught master's degrees for a preliminary online evaluation before enrolment. You apply on DreamApply with your bachelor's degree, transcript or diploma supplement, English certificate, passport and a programme form, and pay a €30 fee. Students with income abroad need an ISEE parificato from the CAF CISL office in Bergamo, requested by 15 December 2026. Without it, you pay the top bracket and the €190 regional tax.

The University of Bergamo is a good choice if you want an English-taught master's in accounting, economics, finance, management, engineering or tourism, at income-based fees, in a smaller city with good links to Milan and an international airport. It suits you less if you want a full English-taught bachelor's, since only one Business Administration track is offered, or a big global ranking name.
