Digital Intelligence and Change Management (DICM) is a two-year, 120 ECTS master's in management (class LM-77) taught in English by the University of Pisa's Department of Economics and Management. It focuses on digital strategy, data analytics and organisational change. Fees follow a country or income scale, so it can be tuition-free for eligible students.
Entry requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business administration (L-18) or economics (L-33), or a recognised foreign equivalent.
- At least 75 ECTS across business (30), economics (15), maths and statistics (15) and law (15), including exams in business administration, in strategy, management control or cost accounting, and in organisation studies or HR.
- English at B2: 9 ECTS of English courses, a degree taught in English, or a Cambridge, IELTS Academic or TOEFL certificate.
- A final bachelor's grade of at least 98/110, or a 26/30 average in the key business exams; otherwise a written test or oral interview on those topics.
- Holders of foreign degrees apply through the university's applymscenglish portal.

Digital Intelligence and Change Management (DICM) is a two-year master of science in management (laurea magistrale, class LM-77) worth 120 ECTS, taught in English by the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pisa. What you will study
The first year sets the core in strategy and change, with electives in business administration, quantitative methods and economics. The second year focuses on data, communication and hands-on labs before the thesis. Units in the 2026/27 plan include:

- Supply chain and digital cost management, and Legal principles of corporate governance

How the programme is taught
Through partnerships with companies, students attend guest lectures and workshops and can access career mentoring, and courses draw on real business cases. The class is international and brings together students from different academic backgrounds.

Fees and scholarships
DICM follows the University of Pisa's general fee rules. For 2026/27 students whose family lives abroad pay at most €2,900 a year, reduced automatically to €290, €580 or €1,160 according to the World Bank income group of their country, or set individually through an ISEEU parificato. Winners of a DSU Toscana scholarship are exempt from tuition, so this degree can be tuition-free for eligible students.
How to apply from outside the EU
If your bachelor's degree is from outside Italy, you apply on the applymscenglish portal, where the committee checks your credits, key exams and English. For 2026/27 the portal window ran from 5 December 2025 to 30 April 2026 for both non-EU and EU candidates. Applicants below the grade threshold take a written test or interview, usually scheduled in September, November and March.
After admission, non-EU students pre-enrol on Universitaly and apply for a type D study visa. Dates for 2027/28 are not published yet.
