- Direct access: a three-year degree in class L-18 (business economics and management) or L-33 (economics), a three-year Italian university diploma, or a foreign qualification judged suitable.
- Any other bachelor's degree: at least 34 CFU in the business area (sectors ECON-06/A, ECON-07/A, ECON-08/A, ECON-09/A, ECON-09/B, ECON-10/A and AGRI-01/A), 24 CFU in the economics area (ECON-01/A, ECON-02/A, ECON-03/A, ECON-04/A, STEC-01/B, GEOG-01/A and GEOG-01/B), 24 CFU in the legal area (GIUR-01/A, GIUR-02/A, GIUR-02/B, GIUR-03/A, GIUR-04/A, GIUR-05/A, GIUR-06/A, GIUR-08/A and GIUR-10/A) and 22 CFU in mathematics and statistics (STAT-01/A, STAT-02/A, STAT-03/A, STAT-03/B, STAT-04/A, MATH-03/A, MATH-03/B, INFO-01/A and IINF-05/A).

What this means for your transcript
Italian CFU and the credits on a foreign transcript are not the same unit, and the committee looks at the subjects you studied, not just your total. As a guide, based on the rule above:
- Usually a fit: a B.Com that includes accounting, economics, business and company law, and business maths or statistics.
- Check carefully: a BBA or a BA or B.Sc. in Economics. These usually cover business and economics but can fall short on the 24 law credits or the 22 maths and statistics credits.
- Often short: a B.Tech, B.E., BCA or a science B.Sc., which usually lacks the business, economics and law blocks.
If the committee finds gaps in your preparation, the degree programme council sets supplementary courses within the standard 120 credits of the degree. [1]

English at CEFR level B2 for the International Management curriculum, which is taught in English. The Italian-taught Consulenza e Professione curriculum asks for B1. Your level is certified through university examinations or a recognised national or international certificate. [1]

Committee evaluation
There is no entrance test. Before enrolment, a committee appointed by the degree programme board assesses your personal preparation. A bachelor's final mark of at least 95/110 meets that check. [1] The sources do not describe the route for a lower mark, so we check your file before you apply.

After a positive evaluation you receive an admission letter, register on Universitaly and apply for a type D study visa. About the programme
Business Consulting and Management (Consulenza e Gestione d'Impresa) is a two-year master's degree at the University of Messina in class LM-77, worth 120 ECTS and run by the Department of Economics. It has two curricula: Consulenza e Professione, taught in Italian, and International Management, taught in English. - Second year: Corporate Finance, International Marketing, Quantitative Methods in Management, and Strategic Management or Total Quality Management, plus an elective, language skills, a 4 ECTS internship and a 13 ECTS thesis.
Career paths
The university points graduates towards roles such as highly qualified business consultant, head of a company function, administrative director, finance manager, and planning and control manager. It also notes that the degree prepares graduates for the Italian state exams for the accounting and auditing professions.
