For 2026/27 an international student (foreign citizenship, qualification and residence) paid a fixed €200 a year in country group 1, which covers countries like India, €900 in group 2 or €2,990 in group 3, plus a €146 first instalment. The university's own DSU call exempts winners from tuition, so the degree can be tuition-free for eligible students. How to apply from outside the EU
ESES has limited places, so you sit a CISIA admission test in English and are ranked. Candidates with foreign qualifications apply on the apply.unimib.it portal; bachelor applicants pay no application fee there. For 2026/27 the limited-places window open to non-EU applicants living abroad ran from 10 February to 31 March 2026.
Once admitted you pay a €150 deposit, submit the Universitaly pre-enrolment (by 31 July in 2026) and apply for a type D study visa. CIMEA statements, or proof of request, are due within the call.
