Admission test and ranking
ESES has limited places. You take one of three CISIA tests, from 1 January 2024 and, for 2026/27, by 27 March 2026, at any CISIA member university or online at home, paying CISIA's registration fee. The ranking uses these sections and minimum scores: [1]
- CEnT-S: Mathematics and Reasoning on texts and data, with at least 28 in total and at least 13.5 in Mathematics.
- English TOLC-E or TOLC-E: Mathematics, Logic and Verbal Comprehension, with at least 13 in total and at least 4 in Mathematics.
If your maths score is just above the minimum (13.5 to 15.5 in the CEnT-S, or 4 to 5 in the TOLC-E), you are admitted with additional training obligations in maths for the first year. Until you meet them by passing the first-year Mathematics exam, you cannot sit exams from later years. [1]

2026/27 deadlines
For 2026/27, non-EU applicants living abroad applied on the university's portal for international qualifications from 18 February to 31 March 2026 at 12:00 Italian time. The test had to be taken by 27 March 2026 and the result uploaded by 31 March 2026. [1]
Admitted students had to send their enrolment documents by 31 October 2026, obtain the visa and arrive in Italy by 31 January 2027, and present original documents by 28 February 2027. The 2027/28 call sets the next dates. [1]

Economics and Science for Environmental Sustainability (ESES) is a three-year bachelor's degree (laurea, class L-33, economic sciences) worth 180 ECTS and taught in English at the University of Milano-Bicocca in Milan.
