Fees and scholarships
Engineering degrees fall in fee Group B. For 2026/27 the university charges non-EU students whose household is abroad a fixed, non-recalculable fee of €2,990 a year, cut to €996.66 for citizens of countries on the ministry's list of particularly poor countries. The ISEE parificato only changes the regional tax. The Veneto regional scholarship exempts its winners from the fee, so zero euro tuition for eligible students is possible, and merit fee waivers exist for international applicants living abroad. How to apply from outside the EU
You apply online on apply.unipd.it, uploading your transcript, degree certificate, CV, motivation letter and English certificate, and paying a €60 fee. For 2027/28, applicants living outside the EU can apply in Call One, 15 September to 15 November 2026 (23:59 CET), or Call Two, 1 December 2026 to 1 March 2027.
After admission you pay the €208 admission fee, complete the Universitaly pre-enrolment and request a type D study visa. Legalised, apostilled or CIMEA-verified copies of your degree and transcript are due by 31 August 2027, and classes begin on 1 October 2027.
