Accounting, Finance and Business Consulting is the English version of Consulenza e direzione aziendale, a two-year, 120 ECTS master's degree (class LM-77-R) at the University of Padua, with English curricula in Accounting, Control and Corporate Finance, and Banking and Finance. Non-EU students with family abroad pay a fixed €2,790 a year (2026/27), waived for regional scholarship winners.
Entry requirements
- A bachelor's degree of at least three years (or equivalent) in accounting and finance or a related field.
- Academic skills in accounting (such as financial and management accounting, auditing and control), finance (such as corporate finance and banking), management, economics and quantitative subjects.
- English at B2 level of the CEFR; a C level certificate is a preferential element.
- A CV, motivation letter and letters of reference; GMAT or GRE scores are strongly encouraged and high scores count in your favour.
- No entrance test: selection is on your application file, and an online interview may be requested.
About the programme
Accounting, Finance and Business Consulting is the English-taught version of Consulenza e direzione aziendale, a two-year, 120 ECTS master's degree in class LM-77-R (Economics and Business Sciences). It is run in Padua by the Department of Economics and Management, within the School of Economics and Political Science, and has open admission with requirements. The English version is taught entirely in English, and an Italian version of the degree runs alongside it.
The degree trains the next generation of accounting professionals, controllers, financial analysts and bankers, able to solve complex business problems and support strategic decisions. It combines business economics, law and quantitative methods, and suits graduates in accounting, finance or business who want roles in administration and finance.

In English you choose between two curricula: Accounting, Control and Corporate Finance, or Banking and Finance. Units listed on the admissions portal include:

How the programme is taught
Each curriculum includes lab work, electives, an internship and a thesis. Other units on the portal cover advanced international tax law, financial mathematics and statistics, bank accounting, econometrics for credit and market risk, computational finance and asset management, and personal finance.
Career paths
Graduates work in administration and finance in industrial companies, financial institutions, insurance organisations and independent practice, including international settings. Roles named by the university include:

Fees and scholarships
The School of Economics and Political Science is in fee Group A. For 2026/27, non-EU students with a household abroad pay a fixed €2,790 a year, or €930 for citizens of countries on the ministry's list of particularly poor countries. An ISEE parificato affects only the regional tax. Winners of the Veneto regional scholarship are exempt from the fee, which means zero euro tuition for eligible students. Choose the English version on apply.unipd.it and upload your transcript, degree certificate, CV, motivation letter, reference letters and English certificate; a strong GMAT or GRE score is a preferential element, and an online interview may follow. The fee is €60. For 2027/28, non-EU applicants abroad can apply from 15 September to 15 November 2026 or from 1 December 2026 to 1 March 2027.
After admission you pay the €208 admission fee, pre-enrol on Universitaly and apply for a type D study visa. By 31 August 2027 your degree and transcript must be legalised, apostilled or verified by CIMEA.
