At the University of Foggia, the yearly contribution depends on family income, measured by the ISEE, and an ISEE up to €22,000 falls in the no-tax area. Non-EU students with no income in Italy pay a flat fee unless an ISEE parificato lowers it, and study can be tuition-free for eligible students with an ADISU Puglia scholarship.
Neither Foggia's fee regulation nor its Appendix 1 prints a year, but the university's fees and charges page links both, posted in July 2026, as the current rules. Filing the ISEE after 30 November, or paying an instalment late, adds a penalty.

Foreign citizens with no income in Italy pay a flat contribution plus the enrolment tax, unless they file an ISEE parificato from any CAF, or at no cost from one affiliated with Foggia. The ISEE bands then replace the flat contribution: they cost less up to an ISEE of €30,000 and more above it (derived). Source: UniFG, equivalent ISEE and fees.
Worked example: For a first-year student from India whose family has no income in Italy, an ISEE parificato of €15,000 falls inside the no-tax area, and up to an ISEE of €30,000 the parificato works out better than the flat route on the standard bands (derived). If the student wins or is eligible for an ADISU Puglia scholarship, the contribution is waived and ADISU refunds the regional tax, so we prepare that application and the family certificates with you, and you submit it from your own ADISU account.
Non-EU students living abroad apply to the University of Foggia through Universitaly pre-enrolment, which Foggia uses for its preliminary evaluation, and request the study visa by 30 November 2026. Italian-taught degrees add an online Italian interview, and the English-taught master's checks the degree first. The university decides admission, and the consulate decides the visa.

Yes, most do. Among UniFG's master's graduates of 2024, 75.9% were in work about a year later, with mean net pay of €1,255 (₹1.4 lakh) a month, according to AlmaLaurea. Five years after graduating, 91.5% of the 2020 master's graduates were in work, earning €1,661 (₹1.8 lakh) a month on average.

Foggia students apply for the regional DSU scholarship through ADISU Puglia. For 2026/27 the family ISEE limit is €26,000 (₹28.6 lakh), and the base grant for a student living away from home is €7,172 (₹7.9 lakh) a year. Winners pay no Foggia contribution, only the enrolment tax, so study can be tuition-free for eligible students.

For the study visa, the consulate asks you to show at least €10,179.85 (₹11.2 lakh) a year for living costs in Foggia or any other Italian city. That is a floor, not a full budget: rent is the biggest cost, and a DSU residence place is much cheaper than a private room.
