How tuition works at the University of Sannio

Tuition at the University of Sannio follows family income (ISEE). Italian ISEE holders pay by income, families abroad a flat fee or by ISEE parificato, and study can be tuition-free for eligible students with an ADISURC scholarship.

Tuition follows family income (ISEE). Families with income abroad can file an ISEE parificato or request the flat fee for families abroad, and ADISURC scholarship winners are exempt from tuition, with instalments already paid refunded. An ISEE up to €30,000 falls in the no-tax area. Non-EU students from the low human development countries listed in MUR Decree 176 of 24 February 2026 pay no contribution (fee exemptions page).

Payments are split into instalments between October 2026 and April 2027, and students without an ISEE pay the top band. ADISURC also sets a regional tax by income band (ADISURC regional tax 2026/27).

Sannio sets a flat contribution for foreign students living abroad, but its 2026/27 fee page and foreign-students page give different amounts. The fee page also says families abroad need an ISEE parificato from an authorised CAF to set university fees and to apply for ADISURC. Source: Sannio, enrolment of foreign students 2026/27.

Worked example: A first-year student from India whose family lives in India pays the flat fee for families abroad. An ISEE parificato of €15,000 would fall in the no-tax area, if Sannio applies the parificato to fees as its fee page says. We confirm which amount applies for you, prepare the ISEE parificato with the family and file the documents, and we prepare the ADISURC scholarship application with you.

How do non-EU students apply to the University of Sannio?

Non-EU students living abroad pre-enrol on Universitaly in the period the ministry sets, and Sannio validates the application for the consulate. Master's applicants also pass a requirements check by the department, and everyone registers on the UNISANNIO portal after the visa. The university decides admission, and the consulate decides the visa.

Which entry tests and language levels does the University of Sannio ask for?

The University of Sannio uses CISIA's TOLC tests to assess entrants to its bachelor's degrees and Law, not to select them, and its own selective test for sport sciences. Its English-taught master's in electronics checks your degree instead. That master's asks for B2 English, and Italian-taught degrees ask visa applicants for B2 Italian.

Reality check

  • One English-taught degree. Sannio teaches one programme in English on our list, the master's in Electronics Engineering for Automation and Sensing, which is open access with no cap on places.
  • Grades decide entry. Its 2026 course rules admit graduates with a degree mark of 80/110 or more automatically, and ask for a CGPA of 7 out of 10 on degrees from India.
  • Documents decide the fee. Sannio's 2026/27 pages set a flat fee for families abroad, and its fee page says an ISEE parificato sets the fee; ADISURC needs the parificato by 31 March 2027.
  • Italian still matters. Italian-taught degrees ask visa applicants for B2 Italian by certificate or a test, and daily life and internships in Benevento need Italian too.

What we handle: the shortlist, the fee route, the income documents, the programme applications, the Universitaly pre-enrolment, the visa file and the ADISURC application, prepared with you. The university decides admission, ADISURC decides the DSU scholarship and the consulate decides the visa.

How does ApplyAZ handle applications to the University of Sannio?

For eligible students, we take care of the whole application to the University of Sannio. We shortlist programmes against your profile and their entry tests, prepare the documents and the family's income papers, file each programme application, complete Universitaly pre-enrolment, handle the visa file and prepare the ADISURC scholarship application with you.

We work only with Italian public universities, and we do not promise outcomes: the university decides admission, ADISURC decides the DSU scholarship and the consulate decides the visa.
