How to apply from outside the EU

Because access is restricted, the degree's admission notice sets the requirements, the selection and the application windows, and part of the places form a contingent for non-EU citizens living abroad. The notice for 2027/28 is not yet published. Applications are made on Studenti Online.

Once admitted, submit the Universitaly pre-enrolment. The university validates it, subject to checks on your qualification, and the consulate then handles your study visa, which needs proof of means of at least €10,179.85 (2026). No validations are made during the August closure. You then enrol and pay the first instalment, have your documents checked by the Bologna campus international student office and request a residence permit within eight days of arrival.
