Three of our 4 Sassari programmes are master's taught in English; Computer Engineering is taught in Italian and English, with some second- and third-year courses only in English, and it asks for spoken and written Italian. Tuition at the University of Sassari follows family income (ISEE). Families with income abroad can file an ISEE or pay the flat contribution set for their country, and DSU scholarship winners are exempt from tuition. In 2026/27 an ISEE up to €22,000 falls in the no-tax area, so study can be tuition-free for eligible students.
Other students with no ISEE pay the top band automatically. Fees are paid in three instalments, due by 16 October 2026, 28 February 2027 and 12 April 2027.

Foreign students resident abroad pay no contribution in their first year, only the stamp duty and the regional tax. From the second year, within the normal length of the course, they pay a flat contribution set by their country's GDP per head, or file an ISEE parificato so that the income bands apply. Worked example: A first-year student from India whose family lives abroad has no contribution to make in 2026/27. From the second year the flat contribution for India's country band applies, and with the required credits an ISEE parificato in a low income band can cost less. We prepare the documents with you and file them with the university, and we check ERSU Sassari's 2026/27 call before preparing any scholarship application with you.
Non-EU students living abroad apply to the University of Sassari course by course on Self Studenti Uniss, then pre-enrol on Universitaly for the visa. Innovation Management for Sustainable Tourism selects by interview, while the two veterinary master's check preparation and English at entry. The 2027/28 calls are not out yet, and the university decides admission and the consulate the visa.

English: B2 for the three English-taught master's. Wildlife Management and Biotechnology for Human and Animal Health accept a certificate, an equivalent university exam or the check at entry, Innovation Management for Sustainable Tourism exempts holders of a matching certificate from its language check, and Computer Engineering expects B2 English by the end of the first year (2025/26 plan). Yes, most do. Among Sassari's master's graduates of 2024, 73.5% were in work about a year later, with mean net pay of €1,421 (₹1.6 lakh) a month, according to AlmaLaurea. Five years after graduating, 88.5% of the 2020 master's graduates were in work, earning €1,681 (₹1.8 lakh) a month on average.

For the study visa, the consulate asks you to show at least €10,179.85 (₹11.2 lakh) a year for living costs in Sassari or any other Italian city. That is a floor, not a full budget: rent is the biggest cost, and the table adds the Sassari figures we could verify.
