How the programme is taught
Teaching is conventional and face-to-face in Urbino. Up to 20% of the training activities, other than practical and laboratory work, can be completed online, and the regulations set no attendance requirement. The GoUniurb facilitators and course tutors support international students with their studies, university services and daily life in the city.

Fees and scholarships
Urbino charges fees in four instalments. The first is €456 for anyone enrolling without an ISEE-U; the other three depend on the ISEE-U value, the degree, the year of enrolment and credits earned. Students resident abroad need an ISEE-U Parificato, which a partner CAF office in Urbino issues free of charge, and the maximum fee applies above €70,000 or without one. Winners of an ERDIS scholarship from the Marche region are fully exempt, so the degree can be tuition-free for eligible students.
How to apply from outside the EU
Non-EU applicants living abroad apply first on the university portal, apply.uniurb.it, uploading an English B2 certificate and the required documents; for 2026/27 the deadline was 27 September 2026. A teachers committee then interviews candidates and sends an acceptance letter to those approved.
You upload that letter in your Universitaly pre-enrolment and apply for a type D study visa. After the visa you register on the university system, by 31 January for 2026/27, and request a residence permit within eight working days of arriving. The 2027/28 dates are not yet published.
