Mediterranea also runs the Regione Calabria's Reddito di Merito for 2026/27: a monthly award of €1,000 (₹1.1 lakh) for first-year bachelor's and single-cycle students, and €500 to €1,000 (₹55,000 to ₹1.1 lakh) for later years by average mark (2026/27 notice).

It needs at least six months' residence in a Calabrian town before the 30 September 2026 deadline, so it is not open to students applying from India for their first year.
