In Rende, start with Unical's Centro Residenziale, which manages about 2,500 residence places in 10 residential quarters on campus and in Rende, assigned through the DSU call; for 2026/27, first-year applications closed on 6 August 2026. Privately, rooms in Arcavacata, beside the campus, cost about €100 a month less than in Quattromiglia. Search from the summer, ask for a registered contract, remember Italian law caps a deposit at three months' rent, and never pay for a room you have not seen.
