Graduates of a three-year degree in another class, or of another Italian or foreign qualification recognised as suitable, need at least these credits: [1]
- 12 CFU in statistics and maths: statistics, economic statistics, mathematical methods for economics and finance, and operations research.
- 12 CFU in economics: political economy, economic policy, public finance, applied economics and economic history.
- 33 CFU in business: business economics, business management, corporate finance, organisation and financial intermediaries.
- 18 CFU in law: private, commercial, labour, public and tax law, with at least 6 CFU in commercial law.
Missing credits can be made up with single examinations in the weak areas before your preparation is assessed. A foreign degree is checked for length, credits and subject content, and it must give access to second-cycle study in the country that issued it. [1]
What this means for your transcript
Italian CFU and the credits on a foreign transcript are not the same unit, and Parthenope looks at your subjects, not just your total. As a guide, based on the rule above:
- Usually a fit: a B.Com or BBA with accounting, management, finance, economics, statistics and business or commercial law papers.
- Check carefully: a B.Com or BBA with little law, or a BA in Economics, which often covers the economics and maths blocks but can fall short on the 33 business credits and the 18 law credits.
- Often short: a B.Tech, B.E., BCA or B.Sc. usually lacks the business, economics and law blocks.

Selection and interview
There is no entrance test. Graduates who meet the credit rules with a final degree mark above 94/110 can enrol directly. Holders of a foreign first-level degree, and graduates with a mark of 94/110 or below, have an interview with a commission on basic knowledge in the programme's subject areas and on critical reasoning and logic. If the commission sees gaps, it can assign you a tutor for the first year or suggest support material on the university's eLearning platform. The gaps count as closed once you pass at least two exams of the study plan by the end of the summer exam session. [1]

Fashion, Art and Food Management is a two-year master's degree in class LM-77 (management sciences), run by the Department of Business and Economic Studies at Parthenope University of Naples. How the programme is taught
The first year includes a 6 ECTS English language check. Training and orientation internships (3 ECTS) and thematic seminars help students move into work or further study. The thesis is an in-depth study of a topic from one of the programme's subjects. If the admission commission finds gaps in your background, it can assign a tutor and extra eLearning material. There is no double degree option.

Graduates work as entrepreneurs, managers and consultants in fashion, art and premium agri-food companies, in the consulting and professional service firms that support them, and in tourism and cultural event organisations. Fees and scholarships
Parthenope's 2025/26 fee rules let non-EU students with a study visa either present an ISEE through an affiliated CAF or pay a fixed yearly amount set by country, which is lower for lower-middle-income countries on the World Bank list. Students from least developed countries are exempt from the fixed amount. ADISURC runs the regional scholarship, so the programme can be tuition-free for eligible students.
